ILssConfigurationStore Interface

Persistent node-id and bit timing of an LSS slave (CiA 305 §8.2.2). The object dictionary's 1010h store does not touch these values, and a successful LSS store does not touch the object dictionary (§8.6).

public interface ILssConfigurationStore

Methods

ILssConfigurationStore.TryLoad(byte, byte, byte) Method

Reads the last stored node-id and bit timing. Returns false when nothing has been stored; the node then keeps the node-id it was opened with and table 0 index 2 (500 kbit/s) as its in-memory default.

bool TryLoad(out byte nodeId, out byte tableSelector, out byte tableIndex);

Parameters

nodeId Byte

tableSelector Byte

tableIndex Byte

Returns

Boolean

ILssConfigurationStore.TryStore(byte, byte, byte, byte) Method

Writes the pending node-id and bit timing. Returns false when the write failed. specError0 is reported as a media error (StoreMediaError); any other value is reported as manufacturer-specific (ManufacturerSpecific).

bool TryStore(byte nodeId, byte tableSelector, byte tableIndex, out byte specError);

Parameters

nodeId Byte

tableSelector Byte

tableIndex Byte

specError Byte

Returns

Boolean
